Abstract This polygon layer represents the Abandoned Mine Land completed reclamation projects of Oklahoma which identifies those areas of the state that have under gone some form of reclamation to abate the health and safety hazards associated with abandoned coal mine features. Some projects have involved strip pits, both water-filled and dry, and various features associated with underground coal mines. Unknown AML features may exist outside of the areas shown. If you find features that may be suspected to be AML related, please contact the OK AML Program.
