Abstract
| According to the Oklahoma Constitution Article 17, Section 8 and HJR1069-2026, The State of Oklahoma is hereby divided into Counties named and described as follows (all descriptions are
referred to the Indian Meridian and base line established by the United States Geological Survey, 1895-1899;
unless otherwise specifically mentioned). Detailed Public Land Survey System (PLSS) descriptions are
referenced to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) New Mexico CADNSDI PLSS Township, First Division
(Sections) and Second Division (Section subdivisions and government lots) Geographic Information System
(GIS) vector digital data layers, Version 2, published 12/13/2023. |

Purpose
| To provide an updated set of Oklahoma county boundaries based on authoritative PLSS data layers from the BLM, language in the Oklahoma Constitution, Article 17, Section 8 and various proclamations and statutes prior to statehood and various proclamations, referendums, and other documents after statehood and current aerial photography. |
